Yes LOVE HURTS. Love hurts when you both can’t see each other because you live in different continents, cities or even different neighborhoods. Love hurts when you both miss each other crazily but you can’t do anything about it. Love hurts when texting makes you miss their voices more and when hearing their voices makes you miss seeing them face to face. Even seeing each other face to face hurts so much because it makes you need more of that but it’s just not in your hands. Love is beautiful and sublime but the truer and sincerer it is, the harder and more painful it becomes. When you constantly think of each other day and night patiently waiting to finally gather but something pops up out of nowhere and your outing has to be cancelled. It is a very unbearable feeling to have your expectations very high and see them end up below the very low.
Love hurts when you’re jealous and when your insecurities hit you trying to convince you that you’re replaceable. Love hurts when you argue in a phone call and wishing if only you could meet so the argument would end in a blink of an eye because you’re sure that looking into each other’s eyes will make difference. Love hurts when you have no other option than a text message to console your partner, give an advice or make up after a quarrel. Love hurts when life is unfair and time is just an illusion that keeps going on and on which is supposed to be happy news because you’re waiting for your next date, however, how harsh time is while waiting! It’s far too long beyond imagination. Bitter and merciless but you know it’s worthwhile and that’s what eases the pain a little. Love hurts when you have to say goodbye at the airport or even just to go back home and it hurts more when you hug tightly wanting to never let go.
Love hurts during the sweetest romantic moments because you wish they would ever last but they wouldn’t because time is over now and you both have to go. Love hurts whether you’re far or near from each other; you will still get hurt by life’s tricks to test your patience. Love hurts when you love deeply and truthfully. Love hurts but in a very good way indeed!
